Holy moly. I just spent approximately 12 hours making use of the 8 grocery bags of peaches we took off of our tree today. It didn't look like much of a crop, but wow. Two pies, one for us and one for the neighbor who saved our house from a fire last week... He managed to put out a fire that started in our back yard while we weren't home. Great kind of neighbor to have!
Also, we started a batch of peach wine. That's a new one. We'll have to see how that goes.... And then of course all of the ugly peaches went into the blender with a little lemon juice and then into the ice cube trays to await their fated end as the key ingredient in a peach margarita :D Oh - and I still have a big bag full left over. ack.
